I was inspired by the recent 50 year anniversary of the classic Joni Mitchell album "Blue" and specifically her song "River" which I started covering pretty regularly live a couple years ago. Anyway, I always felt like it would make for a great holiday release and I scrambled to get this one out in time for this holiday season. This marks my 2nd holiday song/release along with my cover of The Pretenders 2000 Miles. Enjoy, and happy holidays...
