Release Me 04:27
Release Me Stay honest cause that is who you are Be grateful that you’re not a shooting star Connect us so we can go really far We need to discover who we are Do you see me? Am I coming in too clear? You do not know who you are You don’t know what you feel And it’s cold out As you’re whispering to me You do not know who you are You don’t know anything So release me now Cause I’m comin out the other side As you walk on through Do you see me? So release me now Cause i’m comin out the other side Keep focused and pull me out of this hole We need to let go of all that we’ve known Control this and keep it close to your heart We noticed when you’re falling apart Can you see me? Am I coming in too clear? You do not know who you are You don’t know what you fear So release me now Cause I’m comin out the other side As you walk on through Do you see me? So release me now Cause I’m comin out the other side As you walk on through Do you see me? I’ve been runnin in the pourin rain Souls without shoes We need to go on through And we don’t need anything Stop trying to do this and change my mind Cause I cannot move We need to go on through To walk on through So release me now Cause I’m comin out the other side As you walk on through Do you see me? And release me now Cause I’m leavin it all behind Walk on through yeah

Stay 03:56
Stay Well I need a home A place to rest my head I’m callin out your name alone Why can’t we get this right If time it’s on our side Walk around in search of it all So what do we do from here When this damn town’s got us crazy If this whole thing works out right I just might take you away On the ride of your life Will you stay The planets are arranged and so are you and I Almost can’t complain for mars And the teachers they want what’s right Count it out inside Walk around in search then come home So what do we do from here Cause things are startin to get hazy If this whole thing works out right I just might take you away On the ride of your life Will you stay So what do we do from here When this damn town’s got us crazy If this whole thing works out right I just might take you away On the ride of your life Will you stay Will you stay Please stay

Hey Ladi 03:50
Hey Ladi Way up in the mountains Or down by the sea You’re not gonna catch me easily Right out of a movie or your color tv’s Like it or not reality So lets stop bringin each other down And lets talk and not open our mouths One more time again Hey Ladi, who’s that kickin at the door Hey Ladi, wantin beggin me for more Hey Ladi, cause I’m just sittin on the porch Like green colored ice cream, on your wedding day Baby don’t let us slip away It’s still such a pity, that you’re not here now The lights they’re glowin somehow So lets stop bringin each other down And lets feel somethin under the ground One more time again Hey Ladi, who’s that kickin at the door Hey Ladi, wantin beggin me for more Hey Ladi, cause i’m just sittin on the porch Well alright Hey Ladi, who’s that kickin at the door Hey Ladi, wantin beggin me for more Hey Ladi, cause I’m just sittin on the porch Well alright Well alright Well alright

about

One of the positives about this pandemic is that it allowed many of us to slow down and take closer stock of our lives. I know I certainly have. Getting off the road and dealing with this long lock down allowed me to take a deep dive into my catalog of hundreds of songs and demos. I happened across a small collection of songs that have never truly seen the light of day. Yes, they were featured on Myspace and even landed in some tv shows but I never officially "released them" because they were never professionally mastered. Well, I decided to finally do just that. In fact, I was quite fortunate to have them mastered by the great Sterling Sound and they have never sounded better! It's funny how some songs just need to wait for the right time to be let go into the world. I wrote these songs after my debut album, “The Ever Changing Picture,” was released in 2005. These are some of the most honest, vulnerable and exposed songs I’ve written to date and were composed during a rough time in my life where I was barely hanging on while living in Los Angeles, CA. Well, the time for release is now!

Please enjoy this 3 song EP entitled "The Valley Sessions" that was recorded in the bedroom of Swedish producer/engineer/ and full time bassist for Gov't Mule- Jorgen Carllson in the California Valley. Playing drums on the track was Swedish producer/engineer/drummer Erik Eldenius, who has been Billy Idol's full time drummer for many years. It was a fun and interesting collaboration, and I haven't seen those dudes in years, so perhaps we'll re-connect again for another EP in the future.
